Universal Metals was established by Bill Feniger and Michael Sawyer on May 1, 2001 in Toledo, Ohio. Located on the crossroads of the Midwest, our facilities offer easy truck access to I-280 and I-75 interstates, along with rail loading and unloading capabilities. The 70,000 sq. ft. warehouse provides an efficient distribution center conveniently located for our customers. Universal offers slitting, leveling, shearing and pickling services to better serve our customers. Our management team of seasoned individuals guarantees each and every customer the highest quality service and attention, which Universal Metals has become known for over the past years.  William Feniger Bill is President of Universal Metals since May 0f 2001. He has been in the steel industry for 34 years. His family's history offers over 1/2 century of experience with steel service centers. The close relationships with vendors and customers provided a solid foundation for the company and its future growth.
Michael Sawyer
Michael is Vice President of Universal Metals and brings to the company 12 years of experience in the steel service center industries. After spending 14 years in retail management, Mike is a driving force behind Universal's marketing and operational efforts. Service and quality has been Mike's focus throughout his career.
